Thank you both for a wonderful break. We were here for 'work' but to come to paradise was just what we needed. Stunning surroundings, lovely rooms and such wonderful breakfasts.

Only here very very briefly unfortunately, but would definitely come back and recommend 88 Lodge to anyone. Lovely hosts, friendly service & so wonderfully clean! Love it.

Very friendly hosts. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms are very clean & tidy. Private spa was excellent. Would highly recommend this Lodge to family and friends. Next time if we come this way then will definitely come back here. Excellent Service!!

Then there are the chats we had - we learned so much from you both about the surrounding area & NZ in general. We came for a friends wedding, we wanted a 'minibreak', so we chose something a little different and we were not disappointed. Thank you Geoff & Chris for your kind hospitality, beautiful food and lovely accommodation.

Thank you for making the end of our NZ Tour so relaxed and enjoyable. Given the grey weather it could have been an uninspiring stay but you have added a lot of interest through your recommendations and information. We have had excellent meals at local restaurants booked by yourselves. We would definitely come again if in NZ.

You are great hosts! We felt at home from the first minute we arrived here. we love your garden, the sounds of the birds and the peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful home - wonderful place to stay. This was our first destination in NZ & it couldn't have been more perfect. Geoff & Chris are so welcoming & helpful. We feel very @ home & relaxed. And Chris makes the most amazing croissants. There attention to detail is impressive. Loved our stay & sorry to leave.

The best B&B we have ever stayed in. We felt extremely comfortable and 'at home'. A great introduction to the Bay of Islands. You should be listed as a Tourist Information Centre. The accommodation and grounds are impeccable as is your hospitality. As a dietitian our breakfast was superb and met all our nutritional standards. Many many thanks.

The room is so comfy so we actually got what we came here for: Relaxing, enjoying the privacy, taking in the greens, doing practically nothing but taking time off! Thanks for being great hosts, for all the yummy food, the discussions, hospitality and sharing your life stories with us - feel like home with friends.

Thank you for your warm welcome and your kindness. Nothing has been too much trouble for you and we have felt really cared for. Your suggestions regarding excursions and places to eat have all been 'spot on'. We are only sorry that we are leaving today. Four days have not been long enough!!!

We set out to find the perfect lodge and we found it at 88. Beauty - peace and tranquility, exceptional hosts, who made our stay memorable. This is the perfect position to explore the beaches, the islands and the great restaurants we were directed to. In a couple of minutes we'll be leaving and I want to take the advantages of smelling the flowers in the garden, hearing different little birds, feeling the wind and the sun's heating.
