Very beautiful room & property was lovely to arrive at after a long drive. We had a great time here for our 2nd anniversary, thanks very much.

The room is so comfy so we actually got what we came here for: Relaxing, enjoying the privacy, taking in the greens, doing practically nothing but taking time off! Thanks for being great hosts, for all the yummy food, the discussions, hospitality and sharing your life stories with us - feel like home with friends.

Thank you for your warm welcome and your kindness. Nothing has been too much trouble for you and we have felt really cared for. Your suggestions regarding excursions and places to eat have all been 'spot on'. We are only sorry that we are leaving today. Four days have not been long enough!!!

We set out to find the perfect lodge and we found it at 88. Beauty - peace and tranquility, exceptional hosts, who made our stay memorable. This is the perfect position to explore the beaches, the islands and the great restaurants we were directed to. Chris & Geoff we congratulate you on your house, ambiance and your very generous friendship. We look forward to returning next year.

Thank you so much for the great time spent here. I am sitting and writing these words on the terrace in front of our room where we divinely slept after so many days. In a couple of minutes we'll be leaving and I want to take the advantages of smelling the flowers in the garden, hearing different little birds, feeling the wind and the sun's heating. Had a great and relaxing stay at 88 Lodge. Geoff & Chris are wonderful hosts, always ready to help. Would recommend the place to anyone coming to the Bay of Islands.

What a lovely place, with the loveliest hosts you can wish for. The warm welcome, the great conversations, the delicious breakfasts, the good ideas for trips and the recommendations of the best restaurants.....well we could go on forever... but we end it with a BIG THANK YOU to Geoff & Chris. Loved the garden view - and great restaurant suggestions we really enjoyed both Ake Ake and The Pear Tree - and comfortable sleep afterwards. Best orange juice ever!

We've only spent a short time at 88 Lodge but enjoyed it very much. Geoff's & Chris' hospitality, the beautiful garden and the great breakfast make us almost feel at home.

What a gem! We had a wonderful & relaxing stay here at 88 Lodge. The breakfasts were perfect and made to order each morning! The hosts Geoff & Chris are the best & most accommodating we have ever experienced. We highly recommend 88 Lodge!

A wonderful experience and a great retreat. The gardens are lush & peaceful & a joy to walk through. A great introduction to the North with hosts who couldn't be more helpful.
